New and Improved Change in Applying for SNL Scholarships

The 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available on January 1, 2013. You should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible, and no later than March 1, 2013 to assure full consideration for all types of financial aid.

Please be aware that the application process for SNL scholarships has changed and students may now apply online after completing the FAFSA. You will have until March 1st to complete Spring Quarter applications. Decisions for Spring Quarter scholarships will be announced in late March.

The new scholarship application website can be found at:
You may find out more scholarship contributors on the “Donor” page on this website.

The Scholarship Application Periods for the Academic Year are:
January 1 – March 1st for Spring Scholarships
July 1 – August 15th for Fall Scholarships
October 1 – December 1 for Winter Scholarships

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding SNL Scholarships:

How long will it take before I know if I received a scholarship?

You will be notified within a month of the close of the application process for a particular quarter.

How much will I receive?

Each award varies.

Will this scholarship renew?

The scholarships will not automatically renew, however, as long you have an online application on file, you will be reconsidered each term within the academic year in which you have applied. Please not that you must renew the general online application each year after July 1st.

Is there a limit to how many scholarships I can apply for and receive?

There is no limit, but there are specific eligibility requirements for each award. Look at SNL scholarship criteria (bullet points listed below the scholarship name) to see if you meet all requirements. Please use Campus Connect to verify your academic eligibility BEFORE applying.
